The THAAP International Conference is the organization’s flagship annual event, established to improve the state of education and scholarship in Pakistan. Recognizing the intrinsic link between history, tradition, and culture, the conference provides a democratic space where academics, professionals, and practitioners can reassess history from the “People’s Perspective.”
Our sessions are built on the bedrock of consensus-building and inclusivity, aimed at creating a transformative system where diversity thrives. THAAP Talks
Continuous Dialogue: Seminars, Colloquiums & Consultative Meetings
Scholarship at THAAP is a year-round endeavor. Beyond the annual international event, we organize a series of THAAP Talks consisting of seminars and consultative meetings. These sessions serve as a resource for advisement and consultancy, evaluating existing cultural projects and developing new initiatives.
These talks focus on the variety of “a thousand flowers”—fostering an environment where knowledge flows from the human mind into a medium of public welfare. These gatherings often include:
- Cultural Akaths: Traditional gatherings to discuss regional heritage.
- Specialized Lectures: Personal responses to history and urbanism by veteran historians and architects.
- Colloquiums: Focused academic discussions for young researchers to tap into primary sources.
